The Canadian Human Rights Commission claims this article by WWII war hero Doug Collins “exposes Jews to hatred or contempt”

This is the first in a series of articles which shows how weak and pathetic the evidence against Marc Lemire really is. The Canadian Human Rights Commission is seeking a large fine and a lifetime speech ban against Lemire for comments that appeared on his website – The Freedomsite, and a long extinct message board, which was close BEFORE he even received the complaint.. In contravention of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act, The CHRC is trying to punish Marc Lemire for comments he did not write, and for the most part, had no knowledge of. (Section 13 is ONLY remedial and the CHRC has no legal authority to punish Lemire, yet little things like laws or authority have never stopped the fanatical CHRC. The CHRC are currently under a criminal investigation by the RCMP and a privacy act investigation by the Privacy Commissioner, over an alleged theft of a woman’s Internet connection to spy and post material on “racist, neo-nazi” message boards)

The Marc Lemire case is one of pure censorship and freedom of speech.

This article was written by the late Doug Collins in 2001. Doug Collins is a WWII war hero and a life long defender of freedom of speech. The CHRC absurdly claims the following article exposes “Jews to hatred and contempt”. During the 26 day Lemire hearing, the CHRC did not (could not?) produce even one single Jewish person who claimed to now be hated or held in contempt because of the Doug Collins article. Sadly that is not a problem for the kangaroo court, staffed with political apparatchiks, who have a shameful100% conviction rate against conservatives, tax protestors, immigration critics and others.

It’s ironic, that a man who actually put his life on the line against Adolf Hitler and real Nazi’s, is having his writing parsed for alleged “hate” and hauled before fanatical Kangaroo courts staffed by radicals and extremists, who spend their careers chasing after mythical Nazi’s and applying their own twisted moral standards over non-violent legitimate political speech.

If you don’t see the dripping “hate” in the Collins article, you’re a Nazi, Fascist, White Supremacist, Bigot, Anti-Semite, Racist, Neo-Nazi, and Hater! Your next stop will be political re-education camps. Just repeat: "War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength."

Who is Doug Collins?

Doug Collins was a WWII war hero for the British army. Collins escaped 10 times from German POW camps. Between 1946 and 1950, Collins served as a political intelligence officer with the British Control Commission's de-Nazification program in Germany.

Doug Collins' career in journalism has included work in print and electronic media, both as a reporter and commentator. He has worked at several of the big Canadian dailies, including the Calgary Herald, the Vancouver Province and the Vancouver Sun. For a time, he hosted an open-line radio talk show, and also (even) worked for CBC Television.

Doug Collins is the author of several books, including his wartime memoir,

· POW: A Soldier's Story of His Ten Escapes from Nazi Prison Camps* (New York: W.W. Norton, 1968),

· Immigration: Parliament versus the People* (1986) and

· The Best and Worst of Doug Collins* (1988).

Doug Collins' work in journalism has been honoured with Canada's National Newspaper Award (1953) and the MacMillan Bloedel Award (1975).

Doug Collins: "I will conclude by saying that ... I defended freedom in the 1940s when Hitler was on the loose, in the 1970s when the federal hate laws were passed, and in the 1990s when those idiots in Victoria passed their misnamed Human Rights Act, and that I shall go on defending freedom until the day I die."

FREEDOM IS AS FREEDOM DOESN'T

The sinister attacks now taking place on freedom of speech in the Western world are applauded rather than condemned, thanks mainly to the media and lickspittle politicians. At the same time, everyone pays lip service to freedom. It is what Disraeli called "organized hypocrisy".

There are two subjects that figure large on the "verboten" list: race and the holocaust. You are free to be "anti-racist", of course, and you are free back the official version of the holocaust. But if you believe that immigration can destroy your country, or that Jewish deaths numbered anything less than the six million, take cover.

Canada ranks high in the kingdom of such political correctness. Books frowned on by pressure groups like the Canadian Jewish Congress and B'Nai Brith are banned; Ernst Zundel and his lawyer are denied access to the Parliament buildings in Ottawa (by unanimous consent of our MPs!); and dissidents can be hauled before kangaroo courts called human rights tribunals for having "hurt the feelings" of Jews and immigrants.

Hate laws are anti-free-speech laws, Which is why they figure in our Criminal Code. And we now never see them criticized in the mainstream media, owing partly to increasing Jewish control. But they also reflect the spirit of the times.

For a fascinating account of what is going on world-wide, read "Return to the Dark Ages," an article in the March issue of American Renaissance magazine (AR). In Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Austria and Lithuania the Jewish Holocaust has become the one historical event on which people can be compelled to agree, Prison, exile or massive fines face those who disagree.

"Today in Europe," it states, "there are laws as bad as anything George Orwell could have imagined." Facts are irrelevant, and certain things may not be said whether they are true or false....It is a tyranny of the left practised by the very people who professed shock at the tactics of Joe McCarthy.

Hundreds of people have fallen foul of that tyranny but, contrary to what happened when McCarthy was on the loose, their fate does not much interest our liberal watchdogs. On the contrary, such victims are usually denounced as Nazis, neo-Nazis, Fascists, "white supremacists", and so on.

A prime example is that of Germar Rudolf, a young German with a doctorate in chemistry who tested the "gas chambers" at Birkenau and concluded that they could not have been used for mass executions. He was dismissed from the prestigious Max Planck Institute and sentenced to 14 months in prison. He fled to England, where Jewish groups have sought his extradition to Germany, and is now seeking political asylum in the U.S. I recall that news items in the Conrad Black-owned Telegraph newspapers in London denounced him as a Nazi in hiding. With no shred of evidence.

Switzerland has become no better than Germany. It embraced "holocaust denial" censorship in 1995 and is now sending offenders to jail or forcing them into exile. According to AR, there have been 200 trials and 100 sentences in that country since then.

Juergen Graf, a highly qualified teacher who wrote a revisionist book, was sentenced to 15 months. His publisher got a year, even though the book was published before the law came into effect. As is the case in Germany, their lawyers could not defend them properly without themselves being prosecuted for "denial". Graf fled to Iran and is now lecturing in Iranian universities.

In France, Bridget Bardot has become a "hate criminal". Not for anything she said about the Jews, but because, as an animal lover, she opposes the ritual slaughter of sheep by French Muslims. She also complained that France is being invaded by an "overpopulation of foreigners".

Canada gets some attention in the article. We now have "a nearly 20-year tradition of censorship", with Ernst Zuendel being our "most famous thought criminal".

As most of us know, Zuendel has faced a long drawn-out human rights hearing involving Jewish complaints about a web site that bears his name but is run from the U.S. How's that for stretching things! But elasticity doesn't worry the chairman of the tribunal. Nor does the truth. As he has stated, "The truth is not an issue before us.The sole issue is whether such communications are LIKELY to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt."

Censorship is on the march in Europe and is licking at our own [U.S.] borders, states AR, and "the real shame is how so few people are willing to oppose this clampdown on freedom".

The loony submissions of the Canadian Human Rights Commission...

47. Reference is made to the submissions under the "Holocaust Statistics" posting, above. This posting decries the injustice committed against those who deny the Holocaust. The content of this material and the manner in which the message is constructed are likely to expose Jews to hatred or contempt on the basis of race, religion and ethnic origin. The material puts forward unsubstantiated assertions of Jewish control and influence. It characterizes racists and Holocaust deniers as victims of liberal tyrants and Ernst Zundel was the victim of “Jewish Complaints”. In Citron v. Zundel, similar messages were referred to as "specific rhetorical strategies to target and degrade Jews". As in Citron v. Zundel, it is submitted that the tone and expression of these messages are so malevolent in their depiction of Jews so as to be hate messages within the meaning of the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Reply:

The CHRC claim that Collins, put forth “…unsubstantiated assertions of Jewish control and influence”. This is absurd. Doug Collins wrote substantially on what he referred to as “Jewish Control” over the media. Like the Aspers who control Canwest-Global, and other examples Collins wrote about

The CHRC complaint that Collins mentions Zionists. Zionism is a political philosophy and not covered by the Canadian Human Rights Act.

The CHRC state it is anti-Semitic to say that “Ernst Zundel was the victim of “Jewish Complaints”. Yet the Human rights Tribual said it:

“[6] Sabina Citron, who identifies herself as a Jew and survivor of the Holocaust…” CHRT Decision in Zundel

Is the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal going to now be accused of Anti-Semitism for mentioning she was Jewish? Or it is just Doug Collins who is anti-Semitic for accurately repeating what was in the Tribunal’s own decision?

YES … The “language nannies” are straight up nuts!
